How do I add a booking widget to my Experience listing?
If visitors can book your Experience online, you can embed that booking system directly into the listing using the Booking Embed tab. This is also available on Business Profiles for accommodation and food & drink entries, so if you've set one up before, the process will feel familiar.
Which providers are supported
The Booking Embed tab currently supports:
- FareHarbour
- Viator
- Beyonk (Booking Hound)
- Bandwango
- Bokun
If you use a booking provider that isn't in this list, you can request it be added — get in touch via the DestinationCore service desk at http://support.destinationcore.com/ to make that request.
How to set it up
Go to the Booking Embed tab on your Experience entry
Select your provider from the dropdown
Paste the embed code your booking provider has given you into the field below
Save your changes
The one thing to get right
The provider you select from the dropdown must match the actual provider of the embed code you paste in. This isn't just a labelling exercise — it determines how the widget is positioned and displayed on the page. If the dropdown selection and the embed code don't match, your booking widget may not display correctly.
So if you switch booking providers at any point, make sure you update both the dropdown selection and the embed code together, rather than just pasting in new code and leaving the old provider selected.
Where to get your embed code
Your embed code comes directly from your booking provider, usually from their own dashboard or integrations settings. If you're not sure where to find it, your booking provider's own support team will be able to point you to it — this isn't something generated within the DCMS itself.
If you use Bandwango
If Bandwango is your booking provider, you'll also want to check the Categories tab on this entry, where you can select which Bandwango Package the Experience should appear in.
💡 Top Tip: After adding or updating your embed code, always preview the live listing to check the widget displays and positions correctly — catching an issue here before visitors see it is much easier than fixing it after a booking problem has already happened.
