Step-by-Step: Creating a New Event Listing
(Only relevant if your destination has given your business access to Events.)
1. Log in and select the business the event relates to from your dashboard.
2. Click the Events tab.
3. You'll see a list of existing events with their status (Draft, Submitted, Live, Rejected, or Disabled) and creation/update dates.
4. Click the red "+ Create" button.
5. You'll see several tabs (e.g. General, Dates, Links) — work through each one and complete as much detail as possible. Some fields may be greyed out depending on your access level.
6. Click Save as Draft to save your progress without publishing, or if you want to preview the event before submitting.
7. Click Preview (after saving a draft) to see how it will look live.
8. Click Submit for Approval when you're ready.
💡 Top tip: Don't forget to fill in a start date, end date, and an Expiry Date — the Expiry Date controls where your event appears in listings and automatically hides it once it's passed (without deleting it, so you can reuse it later).
