Step-by-Step: Duplicating an Event to Create a New One

(Only relevant if your destination has given your business access to Events.)

Instead of building a new event from scratch, you can duplicate an existing one and just update the details.

1. Log in and select the business the event relates to.
2. Click the Events tab to see your list of existing events.
3. Find the event you'd like to duplicate and click the grey Duplicate button.
4. This creates an exact copy of the original — open it and edit the details so you don't end up with two identical events listed on the site.
5. Once updated, submit it for approval in the usual way.

When duplicating is especially useful:

A monthly recurring event where only the dates need changing.

An annual event, where you want to reuse last year's details as a starting point.

A new event that closely resembles one you've run before.

💡 Top tip: For regularly repeating events, this is much faster than retyping everything each time — just set a reminder to duplicate, update the dates, and resubmit.
