What's an Alt Tag, and do I need to add one?

An Alt Tag is a short text description of an image, mainly used by screen readers (for visually impaired visitors) and search engines. It's good practice to add one to every image.

To add or edit them:

Look for the Assets section in the menu once logged in.

Find the image and open it.

Add or edit the text in the Alt Text field. (NOTE: if you don't have an Alt Text field option then the file name of you name will be used for the Alt Text, so make sure your image file name is an appropriate description of the image).

Keep it short and accurate, and don't just repeat text that's already on the page.
